Take a LIMO Bus to Lockhart’s Favorite BBQ Spots

There are so many good eats right here in Central Texas though one of  the local Texas favorites are our BBQ joints. We have a number of places  ranking in some of USA’s top list of places to eat some of the best  BBQ.
We cater to a lot of clients who are looking for transportation  to some of the best-known Texas BBQ spots. So, we decided it’s time to  make a list for you all to help! If you are looking to go touring  through central Texas to try out mouthwatering brisket and ribs, we have  you covered with this list.
To hit up as many places as possible  while utilizing your time we recommend heading down to Lockhart, TX  located about 30 minutes outside of Austin, TX and about an hour drive  from San Antonio, TX.
First stop: Black’s BBQ which has been listed on numerous top rated BBQ joints in Texas and in the United States. With two locations, one in Lockhart and the other in Austin. They have been listed on The Thrillest and Business Insidersite for best BBQ in America along with a few other Lockhart BBQ places.

Moving forward on the party bus we take a stop at Smitty’s BBQ right around the corner from Black’s to take a sample of their select meats. They have been serving out of the same open fire brick pit from the same family since 1924. How awesome is that!  The pits alone area  site to see and something you do not see every day. They also do not accept credit cards so do not forget to bring some cold hard cash so you can avoid any ATM fees.

Last Stop in Lockhart, TX will be Kreuz Meat Market.  Have you ever heard of a BBQ place that does not offer BBQ Sauce…? Me  either until we stopped by Kreuz Market. Hesitant at first, we decided  to go ahead and embrace this change and dig in. We could not have been more pleased with the Burnt End Brisket, some of the most  mouthwatering brisket I have ever had. You can order the  sausage in different flavors as well. They sometimes have a band come in  which gives this place 5stars on catering to their guest.

Have some time to spare before or after we have guest who like to stop by Lone Star Gun Range in Lockhart. You can rent out firearms from them. We have  linked to their site if interested. This has always been a plus for our  Bachelor parties.

If you have any questions, please let us know.  If needing more information on some of the places mentioned click and  follow the links.

Limousine Service Party Bus Rentals for Wine and Brew Tours

We understand that booking a bus then scheduling out places to go during  your rental time can be tough. Especially if you are not originally  from Austin or Texas in general. So Red Star Party Bus is here to help  try and make your life and planning a little easier. We want you to be  able to utilize your time in the best way possible. We have been doing  this for 6 years now so we know a thing or two about the wine vineyards,  places to stop for lunch, and even brew tour spots to hit up. These are  just a few places listed there are many more options to choose from.

Here are a few of our picks for wine vineyards:
Fredericksburg Wine Road 290: This is the place to be when it comes to wine tasting and visiting multiple places. Though it can become to much for some of the vineyards when having large groups to accommodate. So, to help you plan your trip here are a few tips. Because Road 290 becomes so packed they are unable  to accommodate groups larger than 12 passengers during their peak seasons on weekends. Though at times if you reserve a spot with them in advance they may accommodate up to 14 -16 guest. Just make sure to call in advance and give all the details to the vineyards down 290 you would like to visit.

Driftwood Vineyards:
Trattoria Lisina:They offer food, a beautiful scenery, outdoor seating, and even a playground for kids if you decide to go out with the family.
Driftwood Estate Vineyards: They are a great place to relax and take in the day while enjoying and experiencing the many flavors of wine they have to offer. Though we  do ask that you read through their larger group policies here: LIMO/BUS
Fall Creek Vineyards:   And last but not least Fall Creek Vineyards with an amazing out door  patio, customer service, and selection of wine. They are also located  right across from the famous SaltLick BBQ.  If attending on a busy Friday, Saturday,or Sunday and looking to visit  Salt Lick afterwords we recommend stopping by and picking up a buzzer  from Salt Lick first. We have been informed the buzzer will work at the  vineyard and still notify you when your table is ready. What a way  to utilize your rental time with us!

Brew Tour:
Twisted X Brewing Company: Our go to Brew Tour company in Driftwood, TX. They have always worked great with our customers. We always receive great feedback from clients on their experience with Twisted X. Give them a call in advance to let them  know that you are coming if you have a larger group. This way they will  be ready.

A little Salt Lick BBQ info for the road:  Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays this place can get packed! So be prepared for wait times between 30 minutes and 2.5 hours. If you have larger groups and not sparing time at Fall Creek Vineyard make a reservation. You are able to make reservations up to a week in advance. Salt Lick allows you to bring your own beverages and their wine tasting room next door sells beer by the bucket as well.

Just  remember when visiting the vineyards and brew companies they have a  calm, laid back environment. These are places to inform guest on the many different wines, beers, their distinct taste,  and best ways to pair them.  They would like for us as a limo and party bus company to inform customers before arrival to please be respectful of their property, smaller grouped guest, and relaxing atmosphere. If guest are not courteous during  their visit they will be asked nicely to please leave. We love our  relationships with the vineyards and brew companies and ask that  everyone please respect and honor their wishes.

If you have any questions please feel free to call we are here to help as much as we can.

Choosing a Limo, Sprinter, Party Bus Rental Company

We know that looking into companies to book a party bus can be taunting  and even frustrating at times. We want to make your job easier by giving  out a few tips in narrowing down your choices.

1: Look over the  website. Does-it look legit? Do they have pictures on the site that look  real and not copied from google? What about connections? Does the site  connect to Facebook, YouTube, Yelp, or other social media pages? If so  you most likely have a real company and not a fake one.

2: Are  you able to reach the company easily by phone or through e-mail? Do they  help answer all of your questions without hesitation? How does their  customer service come off? If they are easy to work with before  reserving then the company you choose will most likely be easy to work  with during and after your reservation.

3: One of the big  factors: The companies you narrow down to are they willing to let you  come in to view the buses, or are they able to send you photos of the  limos or party buses they have to offer.

If a company is not  willing to work with you on sending over photos, they are hesitant on  wanting to book an appointment for you to come see the vehicles, or the  website looks fake you might need to move to the next company. We always recommend asking for photos/videos of the bus you will be reserving or if you have the time go view the party bus or limo in person. This may  save you a lot of headache the day of your reservation. Here Red Star  Party Bus we always invite our customers to come and view our party  buses by Appointment Monday – Wednesday.
